I love the new stickers! How do I get them? And can I buy them separately?
Thanks! The stickers are part of our (yours, mine and everyone else's) collective reward for Radiotopia reaching its goal of 35,000 donations. If you’re already a part of the 12,500 existing recurring donors counting toward that goal - thank you! When we make it (fingers crossed!) - you’ll receive an email with more information once the campaign has ended.
Can I still get a reward if I am already a recurring donor?
Yes! If you are a current recurring donor, first of all - thank you so much. You're currently counting toward our collective goal of 35,000. This year we're requesting that you upgrade your monthly contribution by making a new donation for the desired reward level. For example, if you are giving $1 a month currently, you would upgrade by $7 a month ($8 a month total) to get the Radiotopia Forever Challenge Coin. If you prefer to cancel your existing donation or adjust the total monthly amount to something different - email us at donations@prx.org and we’ll take good care of you! Don’t forget, your new donation will count you again toward the collective goal (stickers!) and get you entered to win a ticket to hang with the Radiotopia producers!
I don’t live in the United States - Will my reward be shipped to me?
Yes! Of course, we’ll send you your Radiotopia gear!
Are donations tax deductible?
Yes, PRX is a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
How do I edit my info, increase my donation amount or cancel my monthly donation?
Use the link in your email donation receipt - sent from support@commitchange.com - to change your address, increase your donation, or cancel your monthly donation. If you don’t have the link, submit a request to us and we'll sort it out.
I live outside of the U.S. and when I try to make a donation to Radiotopia my card is declined or the transaction is reported as fraud, what can I do?
Great question! Most likely your card issuer has a restriction on international donations OR the card issuer is marking the charge as fraud because it’s international. Since both CommitChange and PRX are US based, the likely cause is that the card issuer’s fraud detection system is seeing that your card is being used to make a charge in the US and then rejects the charge as possible fraud.
You can try one of two things:
1. Try a different card. Every issuer has slightly different fraud detection systems and some are more sensitive to international purchases than others.
2. Talk to their card issuer/bank and explain that they’re trying to donate to a US nonprofit (kinda like what one might do before going on a trip). Usually, they can get it resolved so donations can be made.
If you are making a donation from inside the United States, double check that you are using the cards billing address. Many times the shipping address for your swag is different than the cards billing address. This will result in a transaction being declined.
As a recurring donor, do I need to renew?
Your monthly gift automatically renews. The donation automatically recurs on the same day each month unless it’s canceled or the card expires. If you want to receive any of 2019 fundraiser rewards, you'll have to make a new donation.
I don’t live in the United States - can I still donate? Can I donate with my home country’s currency?
Yes! We accept international donations. Unfortunately, our payment platform only accepts donations in U.S. dollars. If you are incurring high monthly conversion fees from your bank, our recommendation is to make a one-time donation that covers your annual donation.
Can I donate with Paypal?
While we have accepted Paypal in the past, we no longer accept payment through Paypal due to high fees.
Is there any way for me to share my donation on social media? Yes - after you submit the donation, there are options to share your donation on Facebook or Twitter.
What is RadioPublic?
RadioPublic is a podcast app that helps you discover new shows and keep up with your favorites. RadioPublic has its very own Podcast Librarian who creates podcast playlists across all kinds of topics, including Radiotopia’s best episodes. I just signed up for the Roman Mars Beautiful Nerd Brigade, when will the office hours be and how do I access it?
Great question! In early 2020 we’ll email you a save the date. Then we'll follow up with details on how to join and what to expect.

Topefest Contest Questions
I’m already subscribed to the newsletter, but don’t want to donate to the campaign, can I enter into the giveaway? How?
Great question! If you’re already on the list, and don’t want to donate, but want a chance at winning the giveaway, click here
I LOVE Radiotopia, but I’m not a resident of the U.S., am I eligible to win the Giveaway?
We love you too! With that said, the short answer is no.
Can I enter the sweepstakes via snail mail?
Yes, but since we’ll digitally draw names from a very large proverbial-hat, the best way to get your name in the hat is to donate or sign up for our email list. Can I enter the contest more than once?
Multiple entries are void and only the first entry is counted. There may be only one entry per household
Can my spouse/partner/child, enter into the giveaway?
Yes, but to claim the prize, the winner must provide documentation of their identity and be 18 years of age, and the prize is non-transferrable.
If I enter the giveaway without donating, do I get stickers?
Short answer - no. The stickers are the collective reward for all the donors who help Radiotopia reach its goal of 35,000 donations.
If I made a one-time donation before the campaign, or make any donation the day after it ends, am I entered into the giveaway?
No

Additional Rewards & Shipping Questions
When will rewards be shipped?
We know you’re excited to show off your awesome Radiotopia gear around town! We will be sending out emails with instructions for redeeming your premium in early January, 2020.
How do I redeem my reward?
In early 2020 we will send an email to the account associated with your donation. As it sometimes happens, emails are bounced or filtered by high-tech spam blockers, or perhaps you unsubscribed from Radiotopia emails. If you have any other questions, send us a note at donations@prx.org of and we’ll be sure to get back to you.
I made a donation but did not receive a receipt, what happened?
Sometimes donation receipts are automatically filed in your spam folder, or you might have keyed in the wrong email address, or they just get lost in the interwebs. To request your donation receipt via email or correct an email typo, please submit a request.
I made several donation attempts and received an error message, how do I know if my donation went through?
You should receive a donation receipt via email confirming your transaction was successful. If not, or if you fear you were charged multiple times, please let us know.
I didn’t get my reward from a previous Radiotopia campaign!
Really? We totally thought we got everyone!
All orders for previous campaigns were shipped long ago, but we did encounter a few shipping problems. If you’re still waiting for yours, please submit a request and include your information, reward, email, and address. We’ll check our warehouse for a return with your name on it and get back to you.
I’ve changed my address since making my donation, who should I contact?
Please submit a change of address request and label the subject: ‘Address Change’ as soon as possible, and we’ll get that updated before we ship!
Can I donate to individual shows during the annual fundraiser? The fundraiser is our chance to raise money for all the network as a whole and it’s also a great opportunity for you to listen to new shows. In short, the health and well being of our network is dependent on your willingness to support it.
