HOW TO ENTER: No purchase or donation necessary. Entries may be made by going to radiotopia.fm between November 25th and December 31st, 2019 at 12 am Eastern Standard Time. Existing monthly donors of Radiotopia are automatically entered into the giveaway. To enter the sweepstakes without donating, click here.
ELIGIBILITY: Anyone 18 years of age or older can enter the 2019 Radiotopia at Topefest Contest except for employees of Radiotopia, PRX, and all related organizations (including all employees and contractors of: 99 Percent Invisible, Adult ISH, Radio Diaries, Song Exploder, Kitchen Sisters Present, Trump Con Law, The Mortified Podcast, The Truth, The Allusionist, Criminal, Benjamen Walker’s Theory of Everything, The Memory Palace, Ear Hustle, The West Wing Weekly, Everything is Alive, ZigZag, and Radiotopia’s Showcase), their immediate family or persons living in the same household. Void where prohibited by law.
Multiple entries are void and only the first entry is counted. Entries will only be accepted during the giveaway period between November 25th, 2019 and December 31st, 2019. Anonymous donations will not be entered.
This contest is open only to permanent legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia (but excluding Puerto Rico, Guam and all other U.S. territories and possessions), and Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec and Canadian territories) and who are physically located therein.
To be eligible, you must correctly enter your legal name.
Automatic entries will include:
Recurring donors whose last monthly contribution was on or after Nov 1, 2019.
Any donation made toward the 2019 Fundraiser between November 25th and December 31st, 2019.
PRIZE: The winner will receive all of the following:
2 entrance tickets to Topefest in Boston.
Domestic travel arrangements – including airfare and accommodations (2 nights) for 2 people (in one-room).
Prize must be claimed within 3 days of the drawing.
Total value: $2,000
SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNER: One winner and three back up names will be selected by random drawing no later than January 3rd, 2020. Winner will be contacted by email for notification of contest results by telephone or mail. If the winner is unable to be contacted within three days to collect their prize, the unawarded prize will go to the first back-up and subsequent back-ups thereof until the prize is awarded. Winner must provide their social security number. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of entries. The winner’s name will be kept on file at Radiotopia and will be announced on January 3rd, 2020.
GENERAL: By participating, PRX, Radiotopia and, its agents and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from their use of the prize or their participation in the giveaway. Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. There can be no substitutions for a prize. The winner agrees to participate in promotion of the event or gift won as a prize, including, but not limited to, the use of their name, photograph or likeness, without further compensation. Taxes and expenses as a result of winning this prize are the responsibility of the winner. Winner will receive a 1099 with the above-stated value.
Results of the drawing are final – there are no substitutions or exchanges or cash redemption allowed.
PRX, Radiotopia, and all of our affiliated shows, are not responsible for entries that are not received due to issues with internet or telephone access.
RESTRICTIONS: Restrictions may apply. By participating in the 2019 Radiotopia at Topefest Contest, a participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and by all decisions made by PRX and Radiotopia.
