branding assets

Our visual system supports and enhances Radiotopia’s brand story: from our identifier through to carefully chosen and integrated approaches to color, typography, imagery, gesture, and composition.

our wordmark and clear space

Radiotopia’s primary identifier is comprised of a wordmark. The primary typeface for the Radiotopia wordmark is Outage Cut and is skewed at a 6° angle. Outage is only used for the wordmark. Any headlines, sub-headlines, or body copy should be expressed using Sigmund Pro ultralight and semibold.

The minimum clear space around the identifier should be half the height of the wordmark at the scale at which the primary identifier is to be used to determine appropriate clear space all around.

the Zag

Radiotopia’s secondary element is the Zag. The Zag uses the same geometry and 6° angel as the bolt line from the wordmark. It can be placed in a circular container to act as a stamp or badge and can be rendered in navy or white only as well as a combination of colors from our accent palette. The only instance in which the Zag can appear on its own is as a social media avatar, where the fully spelled out Radiotopia name appears in close proximity to the Zag, or as a favicon.

It represents a spectrum, which audiences may be familiar with from observing emotionally-resonant sunsets or eye-opening images of the Northern Lights. Such imagery also evokes a sense of place and utopian warmth that Radiotopia aspires to.
